I TOOK AN INTEREST IN ARCHITECTURE AS A KID WHEN I BEGAN DRAWING FLOORPLANS IN MICROSOFT PAINT AND NOT REALIZING WHAT I WAS TRULY DOING. MY PARENTS COULD NEVER TAKE ME ANYWHERE UNFAMILIAR AS I WAS ALWAYS WANDERING OFF CURIOUS TO EXPLORE THE ENVIRONMENT THAT I WAS IN. GROWING UP, I WAS ALSO DEEPLY INTERESTED IN ANY AND EVERY TYPE OF VISUAL AND TACTILE ART. INSTINCTIVELY, THIS COMBINATION OF INTERESTS LED ME TO THE ARCHITECTURAL PROGRAM HERE AT UNLV- WITH BOTH THE BACHELOR’S AND MASTER’S PROGRAM.
"ARCHITECTURE IS SUCH AN UNDERRATED AND UNRECOGNIZED PROFESSION. IT'S-A PRODUCT OF EVERY CREATIVE ENDEAVOR THAT MANY TRY TO PERFECT BUT WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO FULLY COMPREHEND AND MASTER IN THIS LIFETIME. I WENT INTO ARCHITECTURE BECAUSE THIS PROFESSION ALLOWS OUR COMMUNITY TO DISSECT THE ISSUES OF OUR MODERN WORLD WHILE ADDRESSING IT IN SUCH A WAY THAT PROVIDES ENDLESS AND TIMELESS POSSIBILITIES."
